Location Of Air Quality Stations In Bogota
This dataset falls under the category Environmental Data Air Quality Data.
It contains the following data: The geographic object stores the location of the stations of the Bogota Air Quality Monitoring Network (RMCAB) for the urban area of the Capital District, located by means of Cartesian plane coordinates in the Magna-Sirgas reference system. Thematically, it gives the name of the monitoring station that identifies the place where it is installed, codification, address, name of the entity that allows the installation of the equipment, height of the station in mm and height of the station with reference to the ground, purpose of measurement of the station (traffic, city background, border, industrial) and if the station is active or inactive. Each station is integrated by a cabin that is instrumented with a set of primary and secondary atmospheric pollutant measurement equipment, and manual or automatic meteorological measurement equipment placed in strategic position. The layer was constructed from the positioning of the stations in the field, from which the corresponding geographic coordinates were obtained, which were then integrated with the station data defined in the Catalog of Environmental Geographic Objects of the District Secretariat of the Environment.
